Seal The Border, Stop The Caravan

President Trump is right.

This assault on our border (and our sovereignty) can not be allowed to succeed.

America has a LEGAL process for immigration.  Since 2000, legal immigrants to the United States number approximately 1,000,000 per year.  Legal immigrants to the United States now are at their highest level ever, at just over 37,000,000 legal immigrants.

It is commonly accepted that there are currently around 11,000,000 illegals living in America.  More are slipping past border patrol daily.

Controlled, legal immigration has been one of America’s great strengths and contributions to the world.  Illegal immigration, left unchecked, will destroy America.  Borders must be secured.  Immigrants must be vetted.

Some politicians have insisted that it is “un-Christian” to stop illegal immigration by building a wall and protecting our borders.  They obviously know little or nothing about Biblical history.  They might be well advised to learn about Nehemiah and Joshua.

The caravan making its way to our southern border isn’t, as Leftists would have us believe, a harmless group of malnourished, frightened refugees.  This mob has grown to over 7,000 people.  Reports of confrontations with Mexican police give us some glimpse of the chaos associated with this “migration”.  Opening our border to these several thousand would subject America to all kinds of jeopardy.  Allowing them in would encourage thousands of others to repeat the same disastrous journey. They must be stopped at the border.

Thank you, President Trump.

I am not against immigration – my wife is an immigrant. However, Gordon is absolutely correct on this, there are policies to follow. When my bride to be applied to come to America she was denied because she would have no job and I was a poor college student. The Governmental agency told me she could come if I could find a reliable sponsor and they would sign a financial guarantee for five years. Thank goodness for Dad’s. The only thing he asked me when I asked him to sponsor her was: “Can she cook?” At any rate, since America’s beginning, people have wanted to come here, assimilate into our culture and be productive. This has changed in the last 20 or so years. Again, I’m not against immigration, but do it like I had to do it.
