Sandhurst Graduate Warns Americans Not to Follow EU’s Socialist Governments

When Royal Military Academy graduate Katie Hopkins spoke to the David Horowitz Freedom Center a little more than a year ago in Palm Beach, Florida, those attending the Restoration Weekend knew that a new voice has arisen on the British Right. According to the transcript, she is a “firebrand columnist and broadcaster whom the politically correct despise for her truth-telling about Muslim migrants, politics, and more.”

Hopkins fears the facile One World global order that is destroying Western Civilization. “This is our time,” she says, “Do not become like the Britain.” She is a Brexit supporter, of course, but wants to advise Americans to save what’s left of their great culture before it’s too late.

For Hopkins, the only positive worldwide force capable of restoring political sanity is the model of Donald Trump, whose example is inspiring millions across the globe: “We have to somehow find the strength to withstand the constant attacks that we face, and Trump is the Jedi master at this game.  I love him.  We know what it’s like to be ostracized by friends who don’t like our opinions.  People can be unkind.  The media can be merciless, but we all need to find the moral courage to stand strong.”

As a journalist, Hopkins has adopted some of President Trump’s fight-back, don’t-apologize public persona of confrontation. She uses salty language as necessary to get people to notice the dire importance of what she’s saying. The liberal narrative, she laments, is pretty much all filtered through the mainstream media to make sure the Democrats and establishment GOP don’t upset the globalist status quo: “If we can resist the narrative, if we can, just by speaking to people we know, doctors, nurses, teachers, people in the street, people that have got problems, we can find our own truths.  We will have the story of the people who will have the power, and then finally, the third arm of this thing is that we have to have the moral courage to fight.”

As an articulate new voice on Britain’s New Right, Hopkins speaks with an almost evangelistic tone (though deliberately strident at times) in defense of the American president: “The liberals who reject Brexit or try to discredit Trump, they gave birth to our determination to succeed.  They are Frankenstein and we are their monster, and we are big and we are bad and we are coming for them.  They are right to be afraid.”

Hopkins shares President Trump’s ability to galvanize public opinion on the grassroots level. She has a populist flair only recently coming forward to win European elections and around the world: “We can do this.  Yes, we can.  If only I was black, that would work so much better.  We can commit to refuse the narrative.  We can commit to arm ourselves with our truths, with no liberal filter, and we can commit to have the moral courage under attack to keep moving forward.  This is our time.  Do not become like Britain.  Get furious and fight back.”
