South Dakota Called to Prayer by Governor Noem

It’s refreshing to have a Governor who believes in a higher authority.

Governor Noem began her 1st term in office by holding a Christian service in the Capitol Rotunda.  Now, as South Dakota and its neighbors have experienced the challenges of spring flooding, Noem is calling again on Almighty God.  She is asking citizens to join her.

“In the last few weeks, South Dakota has been deeply impacted by extreme weather and severe flooding,” Noem said. “As a result of these storms, many communities have been left with destroyed roads, bridges, and culverts, stranded livestock, and flooded homes.”

“This coming Sunday, I am asking South Dakotans to join me in praying for the well-being of our state, our first responders, and all those who’ve been affected by this disaster,” Noem said. “By the grace of God, our communities will emerge from this challenge stronger than ever.”

Thank you Governor Noem.

We will be joining you in this effort.
