(View of Sea of Galilee and southern Golan Heights from Jordan) The Holy Lands are making a comeback thanks to US President Donald Trump.  The Judeo-Christian nation state of Israel under Prime Minister Netanyahu is officially naming part of the Golan Heights for the President, in recognition of his historic protection of America’s strongest ally in the Middle East.

According to Wikipedia, the Golan Heights, captured in the 1967 War, is “the area captured from Syria and occupied by Israel during the 1967 Six-Day War, territory which has been administered as part of Israel since 1981. This region includes the western two-thirds of the geological Golan Heights and the Israeli-occupied part of Mount Hermon.”  This rampart is synonymous with Israel’s defense—and has guaranteed peace.  Trump’s recognition of the Golan Heights and Jerusalem makes him Israel’s most important champion.

According to in The Daily Caller article  “Netanyahu Unveils ‘Trump Heights’ in Israel’s ‘Golan Heights,’”  Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu “and members of his administration gathered in the Golan Heights on Sunday to unveil a sign for the community, newly named ‘Ramat Trump,’ which translates into ‘Trump Heights.’”

David Friedman, the US ambassador to Israel, was also at the ceremony, saying that “It’s a great recognition of the president’s courageous decision to recognize Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights,” noting that “It’s absolutely beautiful.”
