Abuse of Power

Impeachment investigation without due process.

THAT, my friends is a serious abuse of power.

It is certainly fair to investigate alleged abuse of power by the President (or any other politician).  But even in a political investigation, the lack of due process is, in itself, an abuse of power.

The Democrat’s “investigation” is really not an investigation at all.  A REAL investigation examines all the facts and follows them wherever they lead.  A REAL investigation allows for the calling of witnesses on ALL sides of the issue.  Both sides call witnesses in a REAL investigation.  A REAL investigation allows the accused to cross-examine hostile witnesses.

Anything less is nothing more than an exercise in political theater.

Further, in the history of America, there has never… NEVER… been an impeachment without a vote of support in the House, and a complete, open examination of ALL the witnesses and ALL the facts.

Whether the President is guilty of abuse of power is really a secondary issue at this moment.  The first issue is one of fairness in the investigation… due process.  The Democrats currently hold the power in the House.  They are obstructing the investigation by selectively choosing and ‘shaping’ the evidence and witnesses, while refusing to examine anything or anyone not conforming to their predetermined verdict.

THAT is abuse of power.
