71 Year Old Man Waiting at 2 AM to Welcome Home Three American Hostages

Fake news grinds down and dulls the psyches of teeming millions of television addicts. Over and over again, like a bad commercial, the beat goes on, sometimes for years. Lives lived through the media are wasted lives, being the least you can be as a human being. The first thing in the morning until the last figment of consciousness at night. No original thought or independent judgment.

No wonder that Democrats seem ideally suited to become dupes of this propaganda machine. Listen to these liberals around you every day. Their thoughts and sentiments are literally nothing more than what they pick up on television. Freedom of the press means nothing in that context. The FCC has done its job in keeping options as narrow and few and liberal as possible.

Even so, there are some pockets of freedom yet available on the internet. They are still around because their audiences are so small, guaranteeing little or no impact on entertainment zombies. Conservative blogs are suppressed by Silicon Valley technocrats, innocent of history and past generations, using clever algorithms to secretly brush aside non-liberal sources of ideas. The popular Email Forward survives only because the audience reflects just a short distribution list, though passed like a baton to others along the internet watershed.

One forward is the collage of word-picture posters or memes that get at truths otherwise banished in politically correct media circles. The online dictionary defines meme as “a humorous image, video, piece of text, etc., that is copied (often with slight variations) and spread rapidly by Internet users.” An example that came this morning shows a very tired but dedicated President Trump faithfully fulfilling a higher calling. It doesn’t matter who designed the meme because the truth of the underlying sentiment is immediately obvious to any conservative still awake and free.

Now 73, Donald John Trump was born on June 14, 1946, in Queens, New York City. At the time (last year), he said “On behalf of the American people, WELCOME HOME!”
