JFK’s Brother Killed in WWII Drone Attack against Nazi Strongholds

Politics and the mainstream media today bear little resemblance to their counterparts during WWII.  With almost the single exception of FoxNews, our television broadcasting resembles an unhealthy and dangerous Democratic Party propaganda machine intent on subverting the Commander-in-Chief’s efforts to keep America safe even while hostile countries have all but declared war.

JFK’s older brother, Joseph Patrick Kennedy, Jr. (above), died over Nazi-held France in 1944 as part of Operation Aphrodite, America’s first serious attempt to convert conventional bombers like the B-17 into pilotless drones, but loaded with explosives to hit Nazi Mega-Weapons like U-boat bases.  Joseph Kennedy was killed while trying to control such a drone from a plane that followed the bomber.

These experimental and highly perilous missions were part of an undivided national effort to win.  Precision bombing and drone strikes have almost changed the very nature of warfare today. Surgical strikes can now take out terrorists like al-Baghdadi and Soleimani while minimizing collateral damage.  Other Iranian bad guys know that a similar fate may well await them too.  Deterrence works.  Or the next drone strikes might wipe out nuclear weapons factories.

President Trump is the tough leader that America needs right now, but he’s also humane enough not to bludgeon his way to victory and peace, unlike the necessary fire-bombing raids on urban civilians during WWII.   No US politician would even think of bombing the Iranian mourners who assembled en masse after Soleimani’s death.  No need to kill innocents with only charged and knee-jerk emotional reactions.

Ironically, using drones to assassinate bad leaders is not unlike what radical Democrats have done to exchange the leaders of key American institutions over past decades, installing the left where conservatives had once been—the Democratic Party, universities, Hollywood, as well as look-alike television broadcasting and their associated marketing companies.   It’s called surgical for a reason. It can also be good and healthy in the right hands.

Trump has lifted up the military from an impoverished Salvation Army-type organization during the Clinton and Obama years to become a Fighting Force that is too big to challenge militarily.  Peace is won through strength, not appeasement and cowardly political fear.

America’s arsenal is led today by stealth multirole fighters like Lockheed Martin’s F-35A Lightning II, as well as drones like General Atomic’s MQ-9 Reaper or Predator II. F-35s, of course, can now pilot squadrons of drones from their cockpits.  America has been made strong again.  The world will get more and more peaceful once some of the short-term dust settles.
