Dear Brothers,
Do you have an uneasiness in the pit of your stomach that says things are not the way they should be?
Yet, you don’t know how to make them right. Apart from God we don’t know how to be the men we were created to be. God created you for his purposes, at this time in history. Yes, you have a God ordained purpose. Revelations 4:11 says; You are worthy O Lord to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things and by your will they exist and were created. God is calling you to trust and follow him. You have probably already tried to live life your own way, whether you have had some success or not, you’re still empty and unsatisfied. God is calling you into a relationship with him through Jesus Christ, so you can experience his love, forgiveness, and peace. You won’t experience the life God intended unless you let God mold you into the man he planned for you to be. You might think it’s impossible! You might think it’s too late. You might think you’re not good enough. But with God all things are possible. God is waiting for you to give your heart and life over to him. Give God control by yielding and submitting yourself daily, moment by moment, it’s not just a one time thing. Get involved, get prepared, get equipped, outfitted for the causes of Christ. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 says; All scripture is inspired by God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. We all love a savior, but nobody wants a Lord, unless you know He truly has your best interests at heart, and He does. Remember it’s not hard to live the Christian life. It’s impossible! It’s impossible apart from the help of the Holy Spirit. We need the courage and strength God alone provides. Then only can we be the men God purposed us to be, for ourselves, our families, our nation, as we face such an uncertain future. Lead on Lord Jesus!
Your brother in Christ,
Pastor George Yorba-Rapid City, SD
