Senator John McCain has frequent outbursts against conservatives in the US Senate, calling them “Wacko-Birds”.
Most recently, McCain has expressed his outrage by suggesting that conservative Senators need some education on “the way Congress works”. Indeed!
The “way Congress works” is the problem. Conservatives willing to stand up for principles and represent American citizens get in the way of McCain and other Republicans who have become accustomed to “the way Congress works”. McCain and other compromising Republicans find it troubling that their cover is being blown.
Senator Ted Cruz set the record straight, as he spoke on the Senate floor:
The real “Wacko-Birds” are John McCain and his Senate companions.
