Contemplating The Universe

I’m fortunate to wake up to a beautiful landscape.

Each day I thank God for His blessings in my life.

This morning, I am reflecting on the important things.  Life is deeper than just enjoying and indulging.  As a Christian I have purpose and direction.  It causes me to wonder how those who do not know Jesus deal with the issues of life.  A few questions run through my mind.

Are there any moral absolutes?

If so, what are they?

If not, where does that lead us?

Is it intellectually honest to believe the universe “just happened”?

What is the true value of life?  (yours, and other’s)

What happens when you die?

Do you cease to exist and just rot in the grave, or do you have another destination?

I am thankful that I have a personal relationship with Jesus.  I am grateful that the Holy Spirit lives in me.  My day begins by pursuing God.  I want to know Him better.  I want to hear His voice… again.  The questions I have about life find resolution in trusting and knowing Him.

Life is good.
