I suppose it depends on what the meaning of the word “is” is.
Another State Representative reported that Gosch said to tell a local conservative group, “I am not suing Stephanie Strong.”
You could probably say it’s not “suing”… it’s just a “motion”. You could also say Bill Clinton didn’t have sex with Monica.

No matter what you call it, Brian Gosch is legally pursuing Stephanie Strong.
The new leadership of the Pennington County Republican Party has reversed the position of previous leadership. Brian Gosch AND the Pennington County Republican Party were working together in what most conservatives have seen as a vindictive and punitive action to make an example out of Strong, who dared to challenge Gosch for what seems to be a clear violation of law regarding his nominating petitions.
Regardless of the merits of the case, what troubles many people is Gosch’s “Clintonesque” denial that he is suing Strong. Following is the EXACT verbage which removed the Pennington County Republican Party.
Gosch (who is a lawyer) can call it whatever he wants to call it. The stains are still on the dress, so to speak. Conservatives call it vindictive. The truth is that Gosch (and formerly the Pennington County Republican Party) is legally pursuing Strong. It’s an action many see as designed to send the message “don’t attempt to hold us accountable unless you are ready to pay the price”. In the latest hearing, the judge ruled against Strong, who wasn’t present. It seems the Judge had ordered the hearing postponed, then at the request of Gosch’s attorney, re-instated the hearing without proper notice to Strong. She was out of State, since she wasn’t aware the hearing would take place.
The truth transcends words. Mr. Speaker, it’s time to be truthful.
