Bring Back Prayer

And the Ten Commandments.

Classrooms in public schools have come a long way… in the WRONG direction.

Wouldn’t it be wonderful to start the New Year by posting the Ten Commandments in every classroom and beginning each day with prayer (in the name of Christ) and the Pledge of Allegiance?

In case you think me a right wing, radical Christian, I invite you to examine one of the public school books widely used in the education of children in public schools, in the early days of America.  The New England Primer served as a wonderful educational tool which provided the unashamed presentation of Jesus Christ as the Savior.  It taught children to read and write, with the added benefit of providing them sound guidance on how to life a moral life.

As long as we are dreaming, let’s return the New England Primer to every classroom.

Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year!
