Maybe we can’t handle the truth.

That might be why our own government won’t TELL us the truth.

The whole incident of the Iranians taking 10 US Sailors and two boats captive smells fishy.  Gary Howie, my brother and frequent contributor to this NEWS blog had this to say.

“Something does not make sense. Two US boats had engine failure at the same time so both drifted into Iranian water and were captured? If engine failure were really the problem, both boats failing at the same time seems incredibly unlikely. One boat should have been able to pull the other. So, official explanation aside, we are left to guess what really happened.”

That appears more true as time passes without an official explanation from military or political leaders.  At this moment, we are told that Congress has not even received a briefing on the incident.

A further question would be, if both US boats experienced engine failure at the same time, who were the incredible mechanics that restored them to perfect function hours later when they were released?

And why didn’t the sailors resist the capture?  They certainly had an impressive arsenal of weaponry on board both boats.

The Truth?

Don’t expect it any time soon.
