A New Mayor In Lead, SD

Very soon, the city of Lead will elect a new mayor.coe

The people of this city have a great opportunity to choose a Mayor who can take their community in a positive direction.

Gary Coe is not someone who is unfamiliar with South Dakota.  He was born and raised here.  Within the last few years, he and his wife, Sandee, have made Lead their home.  This is what he has to say to the voters:

“You may know my wife and me as the owners of the Homestake Mansion and founders of the Homestake Chop House.

I’m running for Mayor of Lead and want you to know a little bit more about me and why I want to work for you!

*Lead property taxes are too high, I want to lower them!
*Lead downtown needs help, I want to encourage an entrepreneurial spirit in our community to address this problem.
*City ordinances are not fully and fairly enforced, I will work to change this.
*Lead’s streets and roads are badly in need of repair. I will insure that these and other infrastructure items are budget priorities.

I am a man of strong ethics and moral character. I will insist on fair and common sense government and promote fiscal conservatism.

I look forward to answering any questions that you have for me.

LET”S MAKE LEAD SHINE AGAIN”

Attended the Meet n” Greet last night for Mr. Coe. We found Gary to be a very personable man, well spoken and interested in the future of our community. He expressed valid concerns regarding some of the projects on the city agenda, namely the expansion of Manuel Park and the installation of a splash pad. His concerns are in alignment with ours and it was a pleasure to further our acquaintance with him. We wish him well, and will be proud to cast our vote for him on April 12.
