Terrorist bomb attacks have left 30 dead and 230 wounded.

A Black Hills man is safe, after being directly in the center of the attack.

Pat Alley, a longtime friend was there.  He is safe.  Family and friends are very grateful.  Overnight I was able to communicate with Pat.  This is part of our conversation:

“I have traveled to Brussels to meet a Jewish Business man I had met a few weeks ago in Ghana. I had just gone through customs and was in the receiving hall looking for my friend who was to pick me up. I was waiting in a Koffee shop when I decided to get up and go around the corner to check on something, as soon as I got around the corner (5 sec) there was a awful sounding explosion behind me and dust, concrete and debri were everywhere as well as people running and screaming, bloody! Within a few seconds of the first another! Great COMPRESSION! in the building with all windows blown out. 

 People were running , screaming, shaking. I happened to be pretty calm and asked where they were running to and told them we needed to find an exit out and not just run to be running, at that time a airport security person came running by and led us to a back stairwell where we went down two-three flights to the out side.

 Off course I did not realize the gravity of the situation until I was outside and even then did not know that so many were killed. It seemed like it was exactly where I had been seconds before I left the Koffee Shop but it was in the check in hall just above us and the force was so much as to blow all the ceilings out above us!!

 Thousands of people in the streets outside on a cold day in Brussels, Ijust thank the Good Lord for always keeping watch over me as this was another amazing day in my life.

I believe I have been called to Africa by the Lord to help His people. For seven years I have followed what I believe is his calling on my life for my final frontier! I am in Brussels visiting with a Jewish friend of mine that wants to Joint Venture with my company. 

 I trully believe that the Lord protected me yesterday so I could continue His works with His people not only to help them with their agriculture and housing but also in their walk with our Lord. We are not to be discouraged as God will open the right doors for us if we continue our walk.

 These seven-eight years have been a test of my strength and have drawn me closer that I have ever been to the Lord as He is all that I have had!”

This is a great testimony of the keeping power of God.  We never know when, where or how terrorists will strike next.  We don’t know the evil plans of the Devil.  GOD DOES!!  He can keep us safe and deliver us from the storm.  We thank Him for keeping Pat safe.  God has given believers a powerful, personal assurance.
