Delegate Gap Is Closing

While the media is promoting the narrative that the nomination is being “stolen” from Trump…

… Something very interesting is happening.

Senator Ted Cruz is closing the distance by steadily winning more delegates.  The most recent count shows him narrowing Trump’s delegate lead to 273.  That lead will continue to disintegrate next Tuesday, when Cruz takes Wisconsin, where 42 delegates are at stake.

Then comes New York.  It isn’t an automatic win for Trump.  As I understand it, the “winner take all” formula is district by district and requires a candidate to take over 50% of the vote to sweep the delegates.  There are nearly 30 separate contests used to determine delegate allocation.  I’ll just say this: Cruz will do better than expected.

While the media is busy promoting the idea that the nomination may be “stolen” from Trump, voter momentum is building AWAY from Trump.  “Stealing” the nomination from Trump isn’t likely.

Trump LOSING the nomination is another story.

For those who think “Republicans and Democrats hate Trump” means he’s doing something right, a little reality check…

Different groups dislike Trump for very different reasons.

Democrats don’t like Trump because he doesn’t have “D” after his name like they do; he isn’t a member of the Democrat club, even though he has donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to keep Democrats in power, and has backed many Democrat policies. He isn’t pulling to keep THEM in power. Trump also leveraged the country’s disgust at Leftist policies to elevate himself. This is more than enough to lead Democrats to dislike Trump.

Republicans (and by “Republicans,” I mean the corrupt RINO establishment that is more like Democrats than real Republicans) dislike Trump because, although he puts an “R” after his name these days, he isn’t a member of the political class, the political establishment (i.e. the DC club). Establishment Republicans (aka RINOS) look down their noses at anyone who isn’t a politician or political insider like themselves; non-politicos aren’t a member of “the club.” What’s more, Trump leveraged the country’s anger at RINO betrayals to elevate himself–pointing to the many things the RINO establishment failed or refused to do while claiming he would succeed where they failed (even though he behaved like them or even worse for the past 30 years).

Conservatives dislike Trump because his record for the past 30 years or more proves he is a liberal who promotes what they oppose, and opposes what they promote (see more on his record in the links below). Conservatives know that Donald Trump’s recent talk about conservative this and conservative that, Christian this and Christian that, is nothing more than the quarterback professing his love and devotion to get into the cheerleaders’s panties. Never trust what a person is telling you when they need something you have; look at their RECORD to determine if what they’re telling you is genuine. To know how a person will behave in the future, look at how they’ve behaved in the past–especially when they weren’t asking for something from you on the campaign trail. The record tells the story:

Donald Trump won’t put an end to the gravy train; he’ll just make himself the new trail boss, the guy who gets to decide who gets what. Trump has lived off the corrupt quid pro quo system his whole life, and continues to do so. He’s not about to end it; he just wants to be in charge of it.

Again, don’t listen to the RHETORIC; look at the RECORD.

For the sake of our country, I hope it continues to close–and fast. I think more people are starting to wake up to the fact that as a “Republican,” Donald Trump is a fraudulent empty suit. But the question is whether enough people will wake up before it’s too late. Waking up to this reality after he’s received the nomination will be too late.
