Trump: Amazingly Stable Genius

That’s according to him.

In the recent meeting/non-meeting between Trump, Pelosi and Schummer, Trump told them he couldn’t/wouldn’t do business with them while they persist in their barrage of accusations and relentless ‘investigations’.  (good for him)  Pelosi has taken to the stage to mis-characterize (or lie about) the President’s demeanor during the meeting.  This in spite of the multiple attendees who flatly debunk her demonization of Trump.

Trump’s response, ” I am an amazingly stable genius”.  I guess if it’s true, why not say it?

What America may be experiencing is the emergence of the “Louisville Lip” of politics.

When I watch President Donald Trump I am reminded of Muhammad Ali.  He never passed an opportunity to remind everyone that he was “The Greatest”.  From the beginning, many people attended his fights in hopes of seeing this brash young boxer defeated.  They were routinely disappointed.

Ali only lost 3 fights in his professional career.  I am among those who believe that in spite of these losses, Ali was, indeed, the greatest fighter of all time.

I am approaching the same conclusion about Donald Trump.  Time will tell.

Like Ali, Trump is personable and entertaining.  He is also a formidable adversary.

If Trump were a poet, he might give Ali a run for his money in that arena too.  It would be easy to see Trump penning a poem similar to Ali’s shortest poem in the world:

“Me…   Wheeee!!”
