Early Voting in SOUTH DAKOTA

In person – Any registered voter may vote early in person from September 23 to Election Day in the General Election at his local County Auditor’s Office. Contact information for County Auditors is available at www.sdsos.gov/electionsvoteregistration/auditorcontactinformation.shtm

By mail – Any registered voter may vote early by mail. The voter must first apply for an absentee ballot. The application may be filled out and downloaded at www.sdsos.gov/electionsvoteregistration/electvoterpdfs/E1826V1-AbsenteeBallotApplication.pdf (PDF format) or requested from the voter’s County Auditor (see www.sdsos.gov/electionsvoteregistration/auditorcontactinformation.shtm for County Auditor contact information). The application must be notarized or witnessed by an official who has the authority to administer an oath or it must be accompanied by a photocopy of the voter’s photo ID. Applications for absentee ballots may be submitted until 3:00 PM Election Day

    The polls are showing the Dems have gained ground, and are now in a virtual tie with GOP candidates. They raised 16 million last month alone.
    Alas, once again us Independents will have to decide who gets elected in November.
