The call for conservative Christian candidates is being heard. More importantly, it is being answered.
Citizens are reporting for duty!!
In an article posted HERE on the Right Side on Saturday, Dec 17th, the Life and Liberty Group sounded the alarm and called on conservative Christians to step up and challenge liberal/moderate Republicans across South Dakota.
At this time, conservatives from several districts have already responded. Groups are meeting across the State, and people are stepping up. Strong, conservative Christians from several districts are considering a run to replace liberal/moderate Republicans in the State Legislature.
Districts 9, 14, 30 and 31 all have prospective candidates contemplating a challenge to Legislators they view as liberal/moderate Republicans. That is just the beginning of this conservative revolution.
For years, conservatives have stood by quietly, for the most part as liberal groups organized to infiltrate and control the Republican party. Now, it seems they have finally gone to far. Allegations of tampering with the Legislative process, withholding information from conservative Legislators in an effort to thwart their bills, and other extreme abuse of power, have got conservatives up in arms.
The republican leaders who allegedly committed these abuses are being very quiet, except to say the information is “confidential”, the issues “should be discussed in private”, and “settled in the caucus”. Conservatives, on the other hand want a full and complete disclosure.
The more daylight that is focused on the leaders and the alleged abuses of power, the sooner we will see the real story. If there is nothing to hide, why should it be dealt with behind closed doors, under cover of darkness?
Liberal/moderate Republicans are already lining up in support of a sales tax increase in the 2012 Legislative session, and talking about more restrictions on our freedom. Last year, the liberal/moderate Republicans were responsible for giving us $60 million dollars in annual tax/fee increases, while telling us they did not increase taxes. That is nothing new. What is new, is that conservatives have had enough, and they are doing something about it. It is time for liberal/moderate Republicans to step aside so we can get South Dakota back on track.
