Coeds Must Protect Themselves against Rape at College

1524618_450804401717060_287140128_nSelf-defense is the personal responsibility of eachrape1003 individual, as it always has been.  Law enforcement simply isn’t around when you need it.  University campuses are the perfect location for would-be rapists, since this is where innocent, good-looking coeds tend to live.

Many girls are brought up in secure homes where a liberal gospel against guns thrives untested by the real world.  Once at college, progressive faculty and administrators continue to badmouth the use of firearms for self-protection.  Too bad, since this is the time when young women are out to meet new guys especially, and binge drinking at unchaperoned parties is more common than parents realize.

Government and college programs to raise awareness, increase reporting, provide ombudsmen, and counsel victims are simply too little, too late for most.  Their real purpose is to get administrators off the hook, who then get more funding for programs that don’t work.   Bailiwicks grow impressively.

Though “police are just minutes away, when every second counts,” campus police are too much under the control of do-nothing administrators who think they’ll look bad career-wise if rapes aren’t covered up.  Calling 9-11 should always be used by any crime victim on campus or if safety is in jeopardy.  Campus police are less reliable in going to bat for victims, since job renewal is in the hands of smooth-it-over liberal administrators above them.

Best of all, every coed on campus should practice concealed carry for self-defense.  Revolvers are easier to get to know than semi-automatics.  If colleges were run by conservatives, each would have an indoor shooting range to help with practice and safety education.  High school parents should make shooting awareness part of preparing their teen for college.
